I have been seeing a lot of butterflies lately. Many are congregating on the driveway, and on dirt roads. Others are busy on the lilac trees. Yesterday on our walk, I noticed a flash of color down in some oak ferns and when I got on my knees to investigate I saw this fellow. I have never seen this type of butterfly before, and couldn’t identify it in my butterfly app, but I liked its coloring amongst all the green.
