Koeneman Park is just down the road from our house, so we often take Lexi down there for a sniff and walk. There are rarely other people in the park, so we were quite surprised a few weeks ago to see a sign saying that the park was closed due to the Kovid-19 pandemic. This seemed like a bit of overkill since most of the time the park is devoid of people. For us it meant that we had to drive a bit further to other locales for our dog walks.
Two days ago we were relieved to read that the restriction on the park had been lifted, and we took advantage of the fact to again walk Lexi around in the newly greened-up grass. They have ribboned off the picnic shelter, so that is still off limits, but the rest of the park is useable.
