A Black and White World

It is a good thing I paint every morning, because otherwise I sure wouldn’t be getting my needed quota of color throughout the winter.  I certainly realized that the other day when I looked out of our front window and saw nothing but black and white, (and of course some of their intermediate hues) as far as I could see.  Every once and a while during the winter, we get a blue sky to help me along, but overall nature’s palette is pretty restricted during our winter.  (These are color photographs.)
