It is a common phenomenon to have clouds generated over mountains. The Sun causes the air to warm over the mountain slopes, this warmed air rises, and when it hits the cooler air higher up it forms clouds. These clouds which we saw yesterday were a bit more dramatic than usual, so I couldn’t help but snap a photo.
