During the summer each wildflower has it’s time to bloom, and currently one of those that is showing off it’s colors is the American Vetch. It is a viny member of the pea family that tangles its way along the side of the road or the edge of a field with small columns of magenta flowers. I always enjoy seeing the purplish tinted clumps of vetch among the other wild flowers that are presently blooming.
