Yesterday it was pretty solidly overcast for most of the day. Later in the afternoon a few breaks occurred in the cloud cover which allowed bits of sunlight to illuminate some of the Autumn color in the trees. The fast moving clouds caused those spotlights of sunshine to race across the landscape, first lighting here, and then there, continually changing the scenery.
I would look out the window and see some interesting lighting, grab my camera, and rush outside to take a picture. Often by the time I got out to the pasture the lighting had changed. I did this several times and eventually got some nice shots. Here are two that I like.
