Multiple times each day, Kona and I walk around the pond for exercise. A few minutes ago as we were heading back home, I decided to take this photo of the path as it goes along the dam. As you can see we still have a lot of snow on the ground, at least 20 inches (50 cm), but the path is well packed so I don’t need snowshoes, just my winter boots.
I am certainly noticing that the light is stronger, as the days lengthen. It is always a good feeling to be on this side of winter.
