My cousin, Molly and her family recently went on a vacation, and in their travels came upon the above sign in a shower house in Acadia National Park. Knowing of my love of signs and headlines that can be read in more than one way, she sent me the photo above. Molly assures me that they did not “change” at the counter.
Her sign put me in mind of another one that I saw in South Dakota in 2003 during one of our cross country road trips. I have posted it below. It seems that Dick has done well working on people’s toes, because, the toe sign was still there eight years later.
