One of the things I love about living where I do, is watching the ever-changing light as it falls upon the mountains. It is never the same, the clouds and movement of the Sun during the day, and during the seasons, makes sure of that.
The photo above shows what the mountains looked like this morning as Kona and I did our walk around the pond. I was especially struck by the powder-blue cloud which hung low above the Fraser River. This time year as the days begin to noticeably lengthen, the sun is beginning to hit the mountain slopes more directly, as it comes up more to the west every morning, over the Rockies on the opposite side of the Valley.
