It’s been a while since we have done a walk on Horseshoe Lake Road, and even though there was a drizzle coming down, the yellow colors of the trees more than made up for the inconvenience. Beside the autumn colors, there were flocks of geese honking as they flew from one place to another, and also the strange gobbling of sandhill cranes could be heard.
I was happy we made the effort to do the walk.
