Even though most of our yard still has 10 inches (25 cm) of snow on it, (which is diminishing daily), the strip right along the house that catches the sun and thus generates its own warmer environment, always gives us the first blooms of the spring. This tiny plant was the first to bloom this year. Unfortunately I don’t know the name of it, but it is an inspiration, nevertheless.
