Yesterday afternoon as we were walking Lexi down Horseshoe Lake Road, a flock of Snow Geese took to the sky and we were transfixed as we watched the ever changing shape of the group. They would clump, then stretch out linearly, after which they split into smaller flocks, and then stretch out again. They didn’t seem to know exactly where they wanted to go, first flying in one direction, then turning to head back in the opposite direction. We enjoyed their air show.
